If you've got a sharp eye for numbers, a genuine construction background, and you know your way around a project budget, we want to hear from you.About the roleAs Pre-Construction Manager, you'll lead the pre-construction phase across our project pipeline.
Building and managing project programs, managing approvals, turning drawings and surveys into accurate estimates, sourcing the right suppliers, and building the budgets that give our Project Managers a solid foundation to deliver from.
You'll work closely with Client Relations, Design, and Construction teams to make sure every job starts on the right footing, and stays that way.Key responsibilitiesReviewing surveys and drawings to scope out the quantities and resources each project needsBuilding and managing the project programDe-risking projects, coordinating approvalsSourcing and negotiating costings from suppliers,



subcontractors and service providers to keep projects profitableBuilding detailed estimate sheets and Project Description Sheets (PDS) so spend is predictable from day oneLocking in project budgets, giving Finance and Project Managers the numbers they need to run the jobGetting hands-on in design and client meetings, so costing and supply considerations are front and centre from the startKeeping clients and stakeholders in the loop with transparent, consistent reportingDigging into completed jobs to find efficiencies and sharpen how we cost the next oneAbout you5+ years' experience in construction project management, ideally with solid estimating experienceQualifications in project management, construction or commercial managementA genuine track record estimating on construction projects — you know what good costing looks likeStrong commercial acumen and confidence managing a project budget end to endSharp attention to detail, and the communication skills to bring clients, designers and PMs along with youWhy FORGE?
