Our Next Strategy & Assets EngineerKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and implement strategic business plans for Council's Infrastructure Assets;Ensure Infrastructure Assets provide best value for community stakeholders;Provide specialist advice for, and execute, strategic planning, development of options,
and financial analysis for civil and public infrastructure strategic planning;Manage consultancy contracts for strategic plans for infrastructure assets;Provide technical support for staff; andProvide quality administration support as required.Key RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications acceptable for membership of Engineers AustraliaWHS General Induction for Construction Work (White Card)Demonstrated skills and knowledge in use of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility and continued commitment to work according to Councils' policies and Code of Conduct, with or without supervision.Current valid NSW Class C Drivers Licence (ongoing employment is conditional on maintaining this Licence).
While not required, desirable characteristics of a successful candidate could include:Experience in Local Government.Experience in Project Management for civil infrastructureNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification or skill.
