As an Inductions Trainer, you will play a key role in preparing new starters for safe, effective underground operations.
You will coordinate andfacilitatehigh-qualitytraining programs, ensuring employees are fully equipped with the knowledge, skills, and situational awarenessrequiredbefore mobilising to site.
This position is12‐monthfixed termrolebased in Perthandoperateson aMonday to Friday roster, providing consistency and work–life balance while supporting ongoing workforce readiness.
What will yourday-to-daylook like?
Facilitate premobilisation training to prepare new starters for underground work.
Deliver simulator training and provide performance feedback on mobile mining equipment.
Maintain and update training materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide safety and operational briefings to build situational awareness.
Deliver training at Hazelmere andonsite, with occasional weekend work (days in lieu provided).
Our ideal candidate background includes
Experience as an Inductions Trainer or similar role in underground mining.
Strong knowledge of underground mining processes including safety standards and mobile equipment.
Underground operational experience with the ability to mentor inexperienced employees.
Ability to tailor training to diverse audiences across gender,cultureand disability.
Professional communication skills with confidence presenting tomid‐largegroups.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain within a reasonabletimeframe).
Experiencefacilitatingsimulator training with a focus on efficiency and rapid skill development.
Experience delivering training using Virtual Reality technology.
Understanding of AQTF requirements and mapping training programs to nationally recognised units of competency.
