Channel Development Manager - C&I; - Energy Retail
Locations: Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
I'm currently partnering with an established and growing energy business to appoint a Channel Development Manager to join their commercial team.
This is a senior, strategic business development role focused on identifying and developing recent routes to market, channel partnerships and innovative commercial opportunities across the Australian C&I; energy sector.
The role will focus on building meaningful partnerships with procurement advisors, consultants, industry associations, aggregators and other strategic channel partners, identifying opportunities where tailored energy products and solutions can create genuine value.
The opportunity will involve:
Developing and executing a strategic channel and partnership strategy
Building relationships with consultants, procurement advisors, aggregators, associations and strategic partners
Identifying emerging market opportunities
Leading consultative commercial discussions around complex energy requirements
Working closely with Trading and internal commercial teams to structure tailored energy solutions
Developing propositions across standard and non-standard energy products
Building and managing a strong commercial pipeline
Engaging with senior stakeholders across the Australian energy market
About you
You'll ideally bring significant experience across commercial, business development, origination or channel management within the Australian energy retail sector.
You'll have a strong understanding of the C&I; energy market, with the commercial capability to discuss products such as PPAs, market access products, progressive hedging and aggregation arrangements.
Most importantly, you'll be commercially minded, entrepreneurial and solutions-focused, someone who can identify opportunities that may not already exist and build the relationships and propositions required to bring them to market.
