Client Manager | $120k-$160k + Super + Bonus | No Selling, No Timesheeting

$120,000 – $160,000 per year + super + bonuses

$120,000 to $160,000 plus 12% super plus bonuses. Lead a team, look after a portfolio of growth-business clients, and be the person those owners call first. No business development, no networking events, no selling. Mermaid Beach, two days from home, 2pm Fridays.

The honest pitch
n
Most manager roles on the Gold Coast are the same job: review other people's returns, chase workflow, and find your own clients on the side. This one is about delivery and relationship, and it is different for three reasons.

You are not the compliance bottleneck.
n
Your team does the compliance work, and an established team has a supervisor doing the quality control and review on it. Your job is the client and the outcome, not being the last set of eyes on every return.
n
You do not have to sell.
n
There is no requirement to network, pitch or bring in work. The firm handles growth. You are measured on client rapport and on delivering outcomes properly and on time.

We build our own software.
n
You would run your portfolio on a workflow and capacity planner, a tax planning engine, a CFO cockpit with its own cash flow model and a client review tool that we wrote ourselves. The admin that eats a manager's week at other firms is largely automated here, which is exactly why we can ask you to spend that time with clients instead.

The role
n
Look after 50 to 100 client groups and the relationships inside them
n
Lead a team of 3 to 7,



depending on how established the team is
n
Your team prepares the compliance work; established teams have a supervisor who does the quality control and review on it
n
A dedicated client admin sits with every team and handles billing, ASIC, setups and workflow support, so that is off your desk
n
Run strategic client meetings and be the first call when something changes in their business
n
Make sure work goes out on time and at a standard you are happy to put your name on
n
Onboard current clients with the leadership team behind you
n
You
n
5+ years Australian public practice, managing now or clearly ready to
n
Strong communicator first, strong technician second. Both matter, in that order.
n
Solid on Div 7A, GST, CGT, trusts and structuring, and able to make an owner understand them
n
You want long client relationships, not a queue you clear
n
CA or CPA. Full Australian working rights.
n
The package
n
$120,000 to $160,000 base plus 12% super, on experience and the size of portfolio you can carry
n
Bonus structure for every team member, plus an additional team-based bonus
n
Two days from home, monthly RDO option
n
2pm Fridays, with the hours made up Monday to Thursday
