Scaffidi Group is looking for a Dispensary Operations Manager to drive the growth, compliance, and clinical governance of our dispensary services across all our pharmacy sites.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to join our Senior Leadership Team in Support Office, providing strategic oversight, guidance, and leadership across our dispensary operations in close collaboration with our Regional Pharmacist Managers, who manage day-to-day operations at each site.Reporting to the CEO, this is a pivotal role that blends operational leadership, clinical governance, and commercial performance.Why Join Scaffidi Group?

You will have the opportunity to develop a team of experienced pharmacists through leadership and expertise across our dispensary team ensuring consistent, protected, and compliant operations while driving the development of professional pharmacy services.You'll lead a team including a Pharmacy Services Pharmacist, Dispensary Administration Assistant, and Pharmacy Risk and Quality Manager, and work closely with Regional Pharmacist Managers and our Executive team to deliver on both clinical and commercial outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Lead dispensary workflow development, standard operating procedures, and operational budgets across all sitesDrive professional services income and support the growth of pharmacy servicesEnsure compliance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, National Health Act regulations, and the Pharmacist Code of EthicsCoordinate internal audits and manage incident reporting to improve patient safety and workflow efficiencyOversee ethical buying, generic supplier relationships, and stock management to grow gross profit per scriptMentor, develop, and performance-manage the dispensary teamLead the optimisation of dispensing systems, digital workflows, and new technology adoptionSupport new site setups, service expansions, and tender responsesCollaborate with Pharmacy Managers, Regional Managers, suppliers, banner groups, and healthcare providersAbout You:You're an experienced pharmacy operations leader with a robust track record of managing daily pharmacy operations and driving results across senior, multi-site environments.




You bring proven experience with the CPA program, along with a solid understanding of Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) and pharmacy regulatory compliance, and a strong grasp of KPIs, budgets, wage percentages, and GP management.Your communication skills are excellent, whether you're interviewing, counselling, negotiating, or writing reports and you know how to engage and influence stakeholders at every level of an organisation.While it's not essential, we're particularly keen to hear from candidates who are a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA), or who bring strong industry experience within the pharmacy sector in another capacity.
