Teamwork and a people-first culture are at the heart of everything we do and we wish to engage an enthusiastic professional to join our team.About the RoleKey ResponsibilitiesSupporting senior colleagues with project delivery, programming and budgetsContributing as a member of the Process Safety Team within the wider Environmental Engineering GroupDelivering high-quality technical project work, ensuring it is completed on time and within budgetParticipating in HAZOP studies (e.g. preparation of worksheets as technical scribe) and other hazard identification workshopsSupporting production of DSEAR assessments, including hazardous area classification and appropriate calculationsSupporting COMAH-related projects for high-hazard sites including modelling fires / explosions to understand potential effectsWorking with colleagues across Arthian's Environmental Engineering team and wider business to deliver integrated solutions for clientsTravelling to project sites, which may include overnight stays,
out of hours work and periods working away from homeContinuously developing process safety, engineering and consulting skills through structured training, mentoring and hands-on project experience.Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role and level of experienceAbout YouA full UK driving licenceAbility to use full Microsoft Office SuiteEnthusiasm to learn and grow with the businessFirst-class communication skills – verbal and writtenProven teamworking skillsQualificationsHonours or Masters Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
