We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Completion Technicians to join our team on major wind farm construction project.
This role is ideal for candidates who have worked as part of a Mechanical Completion Crew (MCC)and have hands-on experience managing completion activities through to commissioning and handover.About the RoleYou will play a critical role in ensuring wind turbine systems and supporting infrastructure are completed, inspected, documented, and handed over in accordance with project requirements.Working closely with construction, quality and commissioning teams, you will be responsible for tracking completion status, managing punch lists, conducting inspections, and supporting the successful transition from construction to commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesAdjust and align mechanical components such gearbox's and generators, confirming measurements using laser alignment tools, documenting measurements, and making practical adjustments (shims, packers, push tools) to achieve OEM tolerancesComplete inspections and mechanical punch-list itemsIdentify and rectify defects during the completion phaseVerify mechanical systems are installed correctly and ready for commissioningSupport turbine commissioning and handover activitiesComplete quality documentation and completion recordsWork closely with construction, commissioning, and quality teams to achieve project milestonesMaintain a strong commitment to site safety and quality standardsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience working within a Mechanical Completion Crew (MCC)
