As South Australia's only Baptist school offering an ELC to Year 12 journey, we inspire hope by creating opportunities for people and families to do life better, togetherThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and values-driven Finance Manager to lead the operational management of the School's finance function and contribute to the ongoing financial sustainability of King's.This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional who is passionate about solid stewardship, continuous improvement and supporting a thriving educational community.About the roleReporting to the Director of Business, the Finance Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of finance services across the School, including:Financial operations and service deliveryFinancial reporting and budgetingAudit, compliance and risk managementCash flow and fee administrationLeadership and development of the finance teamThe role ensures accurate financial management, robust controls, compliance with statutory obligations, and the provision of high-quality financial advice to support effective decision-making across the School.Key responsibilitiesLead and oversee the day-to‐day operations of the School's finance function across both campusesEnsure efficient and accurate delivery of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable,



banking and fee administration processesMonitor finance workflows and service standards to ensure timely and accurate processingReview and approve finance transactions in accordance with delegated authorityPrepare and review monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial reportsSupport the Director of Business through the preparation of annual budgets and forecast updatesMonitor budget performance and investigate material variancesEnsure compliance with statutory, taxation and reporting obligations including GST, FBT and other regulatory requirementsCoordinate annual audit processes and act as primary liaison with external auditorsLead, support and develop the Senior Finance Officer and Finance AssistantA personal commitment to the King's Vision, Mission and Values underpinning the delivery of a Christian‐based education to students is essential to this role.The role also requires:Demonstrated success in a finance management or senior finance role, with responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance and financial operationsDemonstrated proficiency in financial management systems and the management of accurate and reliable financial dataExperience managing audits and statutory reporting requirements.Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems capability.Outstanding organisational, analytical and problem‐solving skills.Demonstrated leadership capability,
