This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cyber security professional to join a global Security Operations team in a senior, hands-on role.
Reporting to the Head of Security Operations, you will lead the detection, investigation and response to cyber security incidents while helping enhance security operations capabilities across the business.Working with leading security technologies and AI-enabled tools, you will play a key role in strengthening security monitoring, incident response, operational resilience, and the development of team capability.Main duties and responsibilitiesProvide expertise in threat detection, incident response, and security operationsLead investigations and response activities for security incidentsRegional SME Partnering with IT teams and Security Architecture to improve security controls and response processesDevelop operational reporting, metrics, and dashboardsMaintain and enhance security processes, procedures, and documentationDesign and optimise monitoring use cases and detection capabilitiesIdentify and implement improvements to security tools and workflowsSupport the adoption of AI and automation within security operationsContribute to playbook development and operational efficiency using generative AIEnsure incident response capabilities are regularly tested and improvedMentor and support the development of Security AnalystsAssist in Exposure Management findings validationAct as a delegate for Security Operations leadership when requiredAbout youYou are an experienced cyber security professional with a strong background in Security Operations, Incident Response or a Tier 2/Tier 3 SOC workplace.
You combine technical expertise with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
You will bring:Experience in Security Operations and cyber incident responseExposure to complex or global environmentsStrong knowledge of security controls, technologies, and frameworksLeadership or mentoring experienceCustomer focused with a passion for cyber securityExpertise across EDR, SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, email security, web security, and monitoring toolsExperience with AI-enabled security technologies, including SOAR,
