About the RoleGuidera O'Connor are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our team who is seeking meaningful work in the water and wastewater industry.
As the Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing commissioning plans and carrying out the commissioning of projects.About youYou will bring:Experience commissioning infrastructure projects, with water and wastewater treatment industry experience highly valued.A relevant qualification such as a degree or relevant trade and significant experience in the construction industry.An ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.Manage commissioning costs with budget allocation and forecast cost to complete.An ability to verify and troubleshoot system functionality coupled with the diagnosis and resolution of all technical issues.An ability to prepare all reports, test protocols, and write system documentation.An ability to coordinate all schedules and resources for commissioning.Ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.Current knowledge and understanding of all HSEQ obligations with a deep understanding of safety codes and industry regulations.An ability to travel inter and intrastate when required.More specifically you will:Prepare and approve commissioning plans and quality documentation for designated projects.Conduct regular planning and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholdersReview relevant design documents including P&IDs;, Mechanical & Electrical drawings, Control Philosophy, Technical Specification, HAZOP & Design Basis Reports.Liaise between operations, commissioning teams and construction personnel to carry out commissioning in a timely and cost-effective manner.Manage subcontractors engaged to perform commissioning tasks (E&I;, Control System, Specialist Vendors).
Manage the collation of commissioning test results, punch list, daily reports and notes into the Commissioning Report.Ensure drawings, manuals, records, licenses, statutory documentation,



and other documentation are available at handover stage.Finalise and submit the Commissioning Report.Guidera O'Connor is an equal opportunity employer.
