This long-term infrastructure project will play a key role in improving regional transport networks, offering stable work, excellent camp facilities, and the chance to be part of a high-performing construction team.Your new roleWe are currently seeking experienced Roller Operators and HC Licenced Watercart Operators to support the construction of a new highway project near Mount Isa.
Working on a 10/4 day-shift roster (10-hour days), you will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently while contributing to the successful delivery of road construction works.Key duties will include:Operating Rollers or HC Watercarts on road construction and upgrade worksFollowing project specifications and site proceduresConducting pre-start checks and basic machine maintenanceWorking closely with supervisors and other operators to meet production targetsMaintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standardsWhat you'll need to succeedDemonstrated experience working on civil construction projects, ideally road construction or highway upgradesRelevant RII tickets/competencies for the machinery you operateCurrent HC Licence (Watercart Operators)Strong understanding of safe operating proceduresAbility to work effectively within a team environmentReliable work ethic and commitment to project outcomesWhat you'll get in returnPenalty rates10/4 roster with all days worked on day shiftFIFO from Townsville, Cairns or BrisbaneAccommodation provided in Boulia camp-style dongas with all meals supplied, or accommodation in Mount IsaLong-term project opportunities on a major infrastructure developmentSupportive team environment and ongoing work for the right candidates
