This is a highly technical role working with DS Structural Steel Pty Ltd in Adelaide.Key responsibilitiesReads and interprets engineering drawings and specification.Erect Structural Steel membersFits fabricated metal parts into products and assembles metal parts and subassemblies and equipmenOperates machines and tools to fabricate and erect metal componentsMeasures and fits metal components using hand tools, power tools and machinesPrepares and configures machine tools for specific jobs, and ensures correct fixtures, settings and tools are appliedAssembles metal parts and subassemblies according to engineering specificationsRepairs and maintains machines and equipment by replacing or repairing faulty partsTests and adjusts machines and equipment to ensure proper functioningAbout youAt least 5 years of extensive and solid experience in mechanical fitting,
