We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges, loves working directly with clients, and wants to build modern data solutions using technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, AWS and Azure .
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, build and optimise cloud-native data platforms, while also helping clients leverage emerging AI capabilities to create intelligent data products, automation solutions and new business outcomes.What you'll be doingAs a Senior Data Engineer, you'll work closely with clients and delivery teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions that drive real business value.You'll:Build and optimise modern data platforms using Snowflake and DatabricksDevelop batch and real-time data pipelines for analytics, reporting, AI and operational use casesCreate AI-powered data products using technologies such as Snowflake Cortex, semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)Design scalable, secure and reliable data architectures across AWS and AzureImplement data quality, observability and governance frameworksWork directly with client stakeholders to shape requirements and solve complex business challengesApply AI-assisted engineering approaches using tools such as GitHub Copilot and emerging agentic workflowsDrive performance, scalability and cost optimisation across cloud data environmentsContribute to technical design,
estimation and delivery planning across consulting engagementsWhat we're looking forWe're looking for engineers who enjoy building, solving and collaborating.You'll bring:5+ years' experience in Data Engineering or closely related software engineering rolesStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environmentsExperience with Databricks and modern lakehouse architecturesAdvanced SQL skills and strong Python or PySpark capabilityExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration workflowsAWS and/or Azure cloud platform experienceInfrastructure as Code experience using TerraformExperience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka or similarStrong understanding of data modelling, governance and security practicesExperience working directly with customers, stakeholders and engineering teamsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsBonus points if you have experience withSnowflake Cortex AI FunctionsCortex Search, Cortex Analyst or Cortex AgentsRAG and semantic search solutionsAI-powered data pipelines and data productsDatabricks Mosaic AI and Vector SearchData observability and lineage toolingFinOps and cloud cost optimisationCertifications we valueWe're heavily invested in our partnerships with Snowflake and Databricks, so certifications are highly regarded,
