Temora SS Pty Ltd, a busy Indian restaurant, is seeking an experienced Cook to join our Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner service kitchen team.About the roleAnnual salary package: $80,000 per annumOvertime paid for any hours worked beyond the standard roster, where required Duties.Prepare, cook and present a range of Indian dishes to a consistent standardPlan menu items in consultation with kitchen managementPrepare and cook Indian dishes, sauces, entrées and mains for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner serviceEstimate food requirements and assist with ordering of kitchen suppliesMonitor food stocks and rotate perishable itemsMaintain kitchen hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standardsSupervise and coordinate other kitchen staff during Breakfast, Lunch & dinner service as requiredSkills and experience requiredTrade qualification (Certificate III or higher) in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent relevant experiencePrior experience working as a cook in a restaurant environmentSound knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure during serviceStrong communication and teamwork skills.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
