The Opportunity Our client is a progressive and modern Australian public practice accounting firm seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

About the Role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of clients and work across a broad range of accounting and taxation matters.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Preparing and reviewing BAS and IAS
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory
- Reviewing work prepared by junior and intermediate accountants
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members
- Liaising directly with clients and the ATO
- Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and client outcomes

About You We are looking for an experienced public practice accountant who is confident managing clients and working independently.
You will ideally have:

- 5–8 years' Australian public practice experience
- CA or CPA qualification, or be close to completion
- Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients




- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- The ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
- A proactive and commercially minded approach

- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
- Currently live in Australia
- Have Australian public practice accounting experience
