- Provide offshore leadership and Company representation during decommissioning and removals activities.
- Act as the primary interface between offshore vessel management, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with approved procedures, specifications and safety requirements.
- Lead daily reporting, activity surveillance and operational assurance activities.
- Conduct field verification of critical controls, safeguards and risk management processes.
- Participate in risk assessments, JSAs and pre-task planning activities.
- Provide visible safety leadership, coaching and workforce engagement offshore.
- Support incident reporting, investigations and emergency response activities.
- Review quality documentation, inspections and testing activities.
- Manage offshore changes through approved Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Monitor vessel readiness, progress and operational conditions.
- Capture and share safety and operational lessons learned.
- Extensive offshore construction,
installation, marine operations or decommissioning experience.
- Previous vessel supervision and offshore leadership experience.
- Solid background in critical risk management and operational assurance.
- Experience conducting field-based verification and compliance activities.
- Strong safety leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to confidently engage with contractor management and frontline personnel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Offshore decommissioning experience.
- Heavy lift campaign experience.
- Experience working on complex multi-contractor offshore projects.
- 2/2 roster offshore in the Gippsland Basin / Bass Strait.
- Early October 2026 commencement.
- Campaign-based assignment with work scheduled through February 2028.
- Office based in Docklands
