About the Role
We’re looking for a Paint Sales Specialist to join a well-established retail store in Melville. You’ll deliver exceptional service, provide specialist advice to both retail and trade customers, and help drive store sales. It’s a hands-on role where your trade experience and communication skills truly shine – helping clients choose the right products and achieve great results.

- Full-time 38-hour week including regular weekend hours
- Base salary $65k + super

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver expert product, technical, and colour advice to retail and trade customers
- Drive sales across the trade desk and retail floor
- Assist with custom tinting, mixing, and color matching
- Manage inventory, shelf stocking, merchandising, and store presentation
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment
- Build lasting relationships with painters, builders, and DIY clients

About You

- Background in painting, trade, or paint retail (ideal for painters looking for a new direction)
- Confident communicator with a sales-minded, customer-first approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical product knowledge
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable in a hands-on retail environment
- Tech-savvy with basic POS or stock control experience
- Current driver’s licence required
