Western District Health Service is seeking Expressions of Interest from current WDHS employees interested in joining our Pharmacy Department as a Pharmacy Store Person.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and thrives as part of a team-oriented team. The role plays an important part in ensuring the efficient management and distribution of pharmacy stock across WDHS acute, aged care and community sites.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Store Person, you will support the day-to-day operation of pharmacy stock control and distribution services across the WDHS network. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with pharmacy stock control, stocktaking and inventory management.
- Receiving, unpacking and storing pharmacy stock and supplies.
- Monitoring expiry dates, rotating stock and managing disposal processes.
- Maintaining stock levels across wards and departments.
- Assisting with imprest replenishment and stock distribution.
- Supporting computerised inventory and ordering systems.
- Assisting with deliveries of pharmacy supplies across WDHS sites.
- Responding to customer, staff and telephone enquiries as required.
- Working closely with pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy staff to support efficient service delivery.
