Scaffolding Supervisor
- Immediate start from 8 September 2026, approximately 1 week of shutdown work
- $85.00 per hour flat rate for 12-hour days
- Various BHP sites
About the Client:
Our client is a leading provider of industrial services to the mining and resources sector, delivering specialist shutdown, maintenance, scaffolding and construction services across major Australian mining operations. With a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity, they support clients across some of Western Australias largest resource projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Supervise and coordinate scaffolding crews throughout shutdown activities, including the erection, modification, inspection and dismantling of scaffolding across various BHP sites.
- Ensure all scaffolding activities are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications and site procedures, while monitoring scaffold integrity and ensuring required inspections and tagging are completed.
- Lead daily work fronts by conducting pre-starts and toolbox meetings, allocating tasks, monitoring progress, liaising with site supervision and other work groups, and supporting the safe and timely completion of the shutdown schedule.
What You Will Need:
- Demonstrated experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or Scaffold Leading Hand
- Previous mining, resources, construction or heavy industrial shutdown experience
- High Risk Work Licence Scaffold Intermediate or Scaffold Advanced
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces certification, completed within the past 60 months
- Gas Testing Atmospheres certification, completed within the past 60 months
- Working at Heights certification, completed within the past 60 months
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Ability to successfully complete a Verification of Competency (VOC)
- Ability to pass all required medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to complete required BHP and Altrad online inductions prior to mobilisation
