WONDER IMPORTS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team in NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the company’s supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, storage, logistics and distribution.
This is a key management position requiring strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate suppliers, logistics providers and internal operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor supply chain, purchasing, storage and distribution strategies and plans.
Coordinate the procurement and timely supply of goods and materials required by the business.
Monitor inventory levels and implement stock control procedures to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Plan and coordinate the storage, handling and distribution of goods.
Monitor the movement of stock and finished goods and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
Coordinate re-ordering and replenishment activities to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, delivery schedules and supply requirements.
Coordinate with freight companies, transport providers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Monitor supply chain costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
Maintain and review inventory, purchasing and distribution systems.
Ensure purchase, storage and distribution transactions are accurately recorded.
Liaise with internal departments and customers regarding stock availability, delivery requirements and transportation.
Monitor supply chain performance and resolve issues relating to delays, shortages,
damaged goods or delivery discrepancies.
Prepare supply chain reports, forecasts and performance updates for management.
Supervise and coordinate staff involved in purchasing, inventory, warehousing and distribution activities.
Ensure supply chain activities comply with company policies, procedures and relevant Australian requirements.
Continuously review supply chain processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.
Skills and Experience
Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Procurement or a related field is desirable.
Demonstrated experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, procurement or distribution management.
Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management and logistics processes.
Experience managing supplier and transport-provider relationships.
Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Ability to analyse inventory, purchasing and supply chain data.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience supervising staff and coordinating operational activities.
Proficiency with inventory management, purchasing or ERP systems.

Competitive salary of $80,000 – $100,000 + superannuation.
