About the Position

Are you passionate about creating accessible, customer-focused digital experiences? This exciting new position is an opportunity to help shape the future of City of Bayswater’s website and Digital Experience Platform, leading its performance, governance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Senior Communications Officer, you will drive the strategic direction and performance of the City’s website and Digital Experience Platform. You will lead a website platform migration project and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to improve user experience, accessibility and digital content outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead the delivery of the website platform migration to Xperience by Kentico.
- Lead the development and delivery of a long-term website roadmap to improve the site’s user experience.
- Develop, edit and approve content for the City’s website and Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
- Manage website content lifecycle, ensuring quality, accuracy, compliance and strong governance practices.
- Champion best-practice UX,



accessibility and user journey design across the City’s website and DXP.
- Optimise website performance through effective SEO, metadata management and analytics insights.
- Manage the relationship and service level agreement with the City’s website support provider.
- Provide technical support and administration for the CMS, including user access management and training for the City’s web champions.

This is a full-time, 2 year contract position based at the City of Bayswater Civic Centre in Morley.

About You

You will bring a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar digital role, with strong experience using a website content management system, preferably Kentico. You will have strong capability in using analytics insights to improve website performance and user experience, proven ability to apply UX and accessibility best practice, and excellent stakeholder engagement, written and verbal communication skills. A degree in marketing, computer science or a relevant field, along with a current driver’s licence, is required.
