About the role
Interia elevates workspaces for businesses across WA — commercial furniture, joinery and fit-out installation, delivered from first measure to final handover. This role has two equally significant sides: running our warehouse (receiving goods, picking orders, keeping stock straight) and coordinating our deliveries and installs (booking jobs, directing installers, and keeping clients updated day to day). You'll make sure nothing falls through the cracks between a job being sold and a job being delivered.
This is a hands-on operations role at the centre of the business — you'll be the link between purchasing, the warehouse, the install team, suppliers and clients on their day-to-day jobs, working alongside the Managing Director on larger projects.
What you'll do
• Receive and check in incoming goods, pick and stage orders, and keep the warehouse organised and accurate.
• Book and schedule deliveries and installations, maintain the forward schedule accurately.
• Brief and direct the install and delivery crew on scope, timing, access and client expectations for each job.
• Prepare job documentation and keep clients updated day to day on routine jobs, supporting the Managing Director on larger projects.
• Liaise with suppliers on ETAs and delivery timing.
• Keep job records and trackers current, and hand jobs off cleanly to Finance on completion.
• Keep an eye on site safety — briefing the team on hazards, PPE and site-specific requirements.
What we're looking for
Required:
• Experience in a warehouse or stores environment — receiving, picking and stock management.
• Experience in warehouse operations and hands-on delivery/install coordination — ideally in commercial furniture, fit-out, construction or a related trade environment, not a corporate freight/logistics background.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle several live jobs at once without losing track.
• Confident, proactive communicator with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Comfortable working within a defined system (job trackers, schedules, checklists) rather than relying on memory or ad hoc chat.
• Current manual driver's licence.
• Forklift licence.
Nice to have:
• Experience reading basic plans and understanding site logistics.
• Familiarity with WHS requirements on construction or fit-out sites.
Why Interia
You'll be joining a tight-knit, well-established WA team doing varied work — from small office deliveries through to large-scale project fit-outs. You'll have real ownership of how jobs get delivered, direct support from the Managing Director, and the autonomy to run the day-to-day your way within a clear framework.
We're moving quickly on this hire, with a handover period alongside the current team member in this role — so if this sounds like you, don't wait to apply.
How to apply
