Cranbourne Hyundai & Chery are looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Automotive Service Receptionist to join our busy Service Department.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, loves interacting with customers and wants to be part of a supportive team representing two exciting automotive brands.

About the Role

As our Service Receptionist, you'll be the welcoming face of our Service Department while also providing valuable administrative support to the Service team.

You'll play an important role in helping our department run efficiently and ensuring our customers receive a qualified and positive experience from the moment they contact us through to their vehicle collection.

Day-to-Day Duties

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Handling phone and online service bookings

- Greeting customers and providing a friendly, professional first point of contact

- Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate team member

- Assisting customers with Service Department enquiries

- Supporting Service Advisors with day-to-day administration

- Assisting with Repair Order costing

- Reconciling daily banking

- Scanning, filing and maintaining service documentation

- Processing general administration and paperwork

- Assisting with customer arrivals and directing customers to the appropriate Service Advisor

- Maintaining an organised and professional reception area

- Providing support to the wider Service Department as required

- Other duties as required

About You

We're looking for someone who is personable,



reliable and organised, with a genuine commitment to providing great customer service.

You'll ideally have:

- Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service or the automotive industry

- Excellent communication and telephone skills

- A friendly and professional manner

- Strong attention to detail

- Good organisational and time-management skills

- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment

- Confidence using computer systems and learning new software

- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Automotive experience is highly regarded but not essential. If you have the right attitude, strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
