We are currently seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Welding Inspector / QA/QC to support a major project during a critical preparation phase for upcoming shutdown activities. This FIFO based role will be embedded within the project delivery team and will play a key role in ensuring Hot Work quality readiness, documentation assurance and inspection planning ahead of site execution. This is a short term project with the chance to extend to ongoing future works.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide quality assurance leadership across Hot Work scopes
- Develop, review and assure Job Packs, ITPs,



WPS documentation and weld traceability
- Support inspection planning, scheduling and quality reporting
- Monitor compliance against project standards and execution requirements
- Identify and manage quality risks impacting delivery outcomes
- Provide technical guidance to project and execution stakeholders

About You

- Proven experience in Welding Inspection / QAQC roles within Oil & Gas or major energy projects
- Strong background supporting shutdown or commissioning preparation phases
- CSWIP/Equivalent certification is essential
- Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor highly regarded
- Strong understanding of industry codes, standards and quality systems
- Advanced capability in reporting and data analysis tools (Excel / Power BI)
- Professional communication skills with the ability to engage across project teams
