Assistant Venue Manager – Fremantle, WA

Cassia Freo is a vibrant, fast growing Modern Australian restaurant in the heart of Fremantle. Known for great food, quality drinks, and memorable guest experiences, we’re looking for a passionate Assistant Venue Manager to help lead our front of house operations.

About the Role

This is a hands on leadership role combining venue support and daily operational oversight. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll help oversee daily operations while managing a multitude of tasks, including team training and elevating the overall guest experience.

It’s ideal for someone ready to step up, who enjoys both people leadership and the fast-paced logistics of floor service.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Venue Manager with daily venue operations and administrative tasks.

- Deliver exceptional guest experiences across both busy lunch and dinner services.

- Assist with staff rostering, training, and ongoing performance management.

- Work hand in hand with the bar team to consistently deliver the unique Cassia experience.

- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.

- Manage venue opening and closing procedures with a strong attention to detail.

- Handle customer feedback professionally and confidently on the floor.





About You

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy bar or restaurant environment.

- Strong bar and beverage knowledge coupled with proven leadership capabilities.

- A positive, energetic, and team first attitude.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- A genuine passion for hospitality, service excellence, and the guest experience.

- Flexibility to work a standard hospitality roster, including evenings and weekend shifts.

Requirements

- Current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) capability.

- Approved Manager Certificate (or currently tracking to obtain one).

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.
