About the role

As our Regional Technical Manager - Frame & Truss, you'll play a key leadership role guiding high-performing design and estimating teams, driving innovation, improving customer outcomes, and helping deliver quality building solutions for our trade customers. This is an chance to influence how technical services are delivered at scale, while building capability across a geographically diverse team. You'll work closely with sales, manufacturing, procurement and customer-facing teams to create smarter processes, stronger partnerships and better results. What's involved

- Leading technical design and estimating teams to deliver outstanding customer and commercial outcomes.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and service delivery.
- Building capability through coaching, mentoring and development of technical and estimating professionals.
- Partnering with manufacturing, sales and customer engagement teams to improve the customer experience from quote through to delivery.
- Supporting innovation in Frame & Truss products, systems and processes.
- Overseeing workflow planning and resource management to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Influencing business performance through value engineering, cost optimisation and margin-focused estimating practices.
- Strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and key industry stakeholders.
- Using data, reporting and performance insights to identify opportunities and drive operational excellence.
- Playing a key role in shaping a collaborative, safety-focused and customer-centric team culture.

About You





You're an experienced leader who enjoys bringing together technical expertise, commercial thinking and people development. You thrive in environments where you can influence change, solve complex challenges and help others succeed. Success in this role comes from balancing customer needs, operational priorities and team development while creating an environment where people can learn, grow and deliver their best work. You're comfortable navigating complexity, making informed decisions and building strong relationships across multiple functions. What you'll need

- Significant experience within the building, construction, frame and truss, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of Frame & Truss design, estimating and compliance requirements.
- Experience interpreting residential and commercial construction plans.
- Proven leadership experience developing and managing technical, estimating or design teams.
- Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies, costing and commercial performance drivers.
- Experience working with Frame & Truss design and estimating software platforms.
- Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Experience managing workflows, priorities and performance against key business objectives.
- A commitment to safety, teamwork and creating a positive team culture.
