Senior Business Analyst – General Insurance Transformation
n 2 Positions | 7-Month Contract | Sydney |
n Advance Thinking is seekingtwo experienced Senior Business Analyststo join a major transformation program within a leading General Insurance organisation.
n This is a significant insurance technology transformation, migratinginsurance products and policies from legacy platforms onto a strategic cloud-based insurance platform
n We are looking for experienced BAs who can operate confidently acrossbusiness, technology, insurance products and complex transformation
n The Opportunity
n There are two streams of work – one with a strongerbroker/business focusand another with a strongertechnology and insurance product migration focus
n You will work closely with business, product and technology teams through discovery and delivery, helping define how existing insurance products, processes and platforms transition into the future environment.
n Key Responsibilities

- Lead discovery workshops with business and technology stakeholders
n
- Gather, analyse and document complex business requirements
n
- Map current and future-state processes
n
- Support insurance product and policy migration activities
n
- Translate business requirements into clear technology outcomes
n
- Identify process improvement and transformation opportunities
n
- Support data and platform migration activities
n
- Work across testing, implementation and business readiness
n
- Engage senior stakeholders across business and technology
n




- Explore opportunities to leverage AI to accelerate discovery and analysis

What We're Looking For

n

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

n

n
- Strong Senior Business Analyst experience
n
- General Insurance experience strongly preferred
n
- Experience working with insurance products, policies and/or broker environments
n
- Solid discovery and workshop facilitation capability
n
- Experience with complex technology or platform transformation
n
- Strong requirements gathering and process mapping skills
n
- Ability to operate effectively across business and technology teams
n
- Experience with data, policy or product migration advantageous
n
- Guidewire experience highly regarded
n
- Exposure to AI-enabled discovery or analysis advantageous
n

n

Strong candidates from broader Financial Services transformation environments may also be considered where they bring highly relevant BA and migration experience.

n

Location: Sydney – strongly preferred
