Executive Assistant - Office of the Chief Executive Officer

The Executive Assistant us a full time (76hr p/f) permanent position, working out of the Cummins office of Council.

n

As Executive Assistant, you will enjoy a trusted and influential role that offers exposure to high‐level decision‐making, strong skilled relationships, and meaningful community outcomes. You'll be supported to grow your skills, apply your initiative, and make a real contribution to the organisation's success.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Elected Members, gaining valuable experience in executive support, governance and leadership operations.

n

Develop strong organisational and communication skills through diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.

n

Play a key role in the preparation of Council agendas,



reports and minutes, contributing directly to effective and transparent governance.

n

Be involved in the planning and delivery of Council civic functions and events that connect and celebrate the community.

n

Build experience in media and public relations, supporting high‐quality communication with the public and stakeholders.

n

Strengthen your knowledge of local government administration, records management and legislative compliance.

n

Provide professional, customer‐focused support to both internal colleagues and members of the public.

Salary and Conditions
n This position is classified at Level 4 under Council's Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, with a current salary range of $82,577 to $87,952 per annum, plus applicable conditions and benefits.
