A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Temporary Works Engineer to join its growing Melbourne team, supporting a strong pipeline of complex construction and infrastructure‐related projects.

n

This role offers hands‐on involvement in both temporary works design and construction support, working closely with contractors and project teams to deliver practical, buildable solutions.

The Role

n

n
- Design and review temporary works including propping, shoring, underpinning, ramps, access systems, platforms, hoardings, falsework, and formwork
n
- Support staged construction, erection sequencing, and buildability assessments
n
- Provide engineering input for heavy lifts, craneage support, and lifting equipment foundations/tie‐downs
n
- Collaborate closely with contractors to integrate temporary works into live construction environments
n




- Contribute to constructability reviews and site‐based problem solving
n

About You

n

n
- Degree‐qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering
n
- Experience in temporary works design and/or construction engineering
n
- Strong understanding of site constraints, safety, and risk
n
- Local Australian experience preferred
n
