About the Role

n

Working within a dedicated team of turf professionals, you'll oversee the preparation, maintenance,



and renovation of cricket pitches and surrounding turf to meet the highest standards of playability and presentation.

n

You'll:

n

- Prepare and maintain turf wickets and practice facilities to competition and event standards.
n
- Conduct pitch preparation, rolling, watering, mowing, scarifying, and topdressing schedules.
n
- Manage soil profiles, moisture levels, and turf health for consistent performance.
n
- Operate and maintain turf and wicket-specific machinery.
n
- Assist with outfield maintenance, irrigation management, and seasonal renovation.
n
- Work collaboratively to plan schedules around weather, fixtures, and turf cycles.
n
- Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Certificate III (or higher) in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualification.
n
- Demonstrated experience in cricket wicket preparation and turf curation.
n
- Solid understanding of turf agronomy, irrigation, soil management, and seasonal cycles.
n
- A proactive, safety-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
n
- Current driver's licence (MR licence desirable).
n
- White Card (desirable).
n
- Genuine pride in producing premium playing surfaces.
n
