We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Officer to join our growing team in Richlands.

n

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring stock availability, managing supplier relationships, and supporting the smooth operation of our purchasing function. This is a varied and fast-paced position offering the opportunity to develop your procurement and supply chain skills within a supportive team setting.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Managing purchase orders across a large range of products and suppliers
n
- Liaising with local and overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock
n
- Monitoring and tracking orders, providing delivery updates to internal stakeholders
n
- Working closely with Sales, Administration and Warehouse teams to coordinate stock requirements and deliveries
n
- Reviewing product specifications and supplier information
n
- Resolving pricing discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders
n
- Sourcing new suppliers and analysing costs
n
- Processing supplier invoices for payment
n




- Maintaining accurate inventory and purchasing data within the ERP system
n
- Assisting with forecasting and inventory planning
n

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement and Supplier Negotiations
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
n
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritises competing deadlines
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
n
- A positive, resilient and solutions-focused attitude
n
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
n
- Experience using ERP systems will be highly regarded
n
