We're seeking an exceptional ECT or Diploma-qualified Room Leader to join our warm, welcoming, and inclusive team at our 70-place Not-for-profit Early Childhood Education and Care service in Woy Woy.

About the Role
n
As Room Leader, you will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children can learn, explore, and flourish. Working in partnership with the Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor, you will lead your team in delivering a high-quality educational program that reflects children's interests, strengths, and individual developmental needs.
n
This role offers the perfect blend of leadership, collaboration, and hands‐on teaching, with ongoing support, mentoring, and dedicated programming time to help you succeed.

In this role, you will:
n
n
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational experiences.
n
- Implement a play-based program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0).
n
- Build positive, respectful,
and collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
n
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your room, including planning, documentation, routines, and supervision.
n
- Create an environment that supports children's wellbeing, learning, inclusion, and development.
n
- Guide reflective practice and continuous improvement within your team.
n
- Maintain meaningful observations, assessments, and learning documentation.
n
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service excellence.
n
n
About You
n
You are a positive, nurturing, and motivated educator who is passionate about early childhood education.
n
You lead by example, build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and are committed to creating engaging learning experiences that make a lasting difference in children's lives.
n
You bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a strong belief in every child's potential, along with the ability to inspire and support those around you.
n
You'll Bring:
n
n
- Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to five years) OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
n
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or experienced Senior Educator (highly regarded)
n
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF V2.0, National Quality Framework (NQF), and NSW Child Safe Standards
n
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
n
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
n
