With over a century of mining history, Darlot is a cornerstone operation of Vault Minerals Limited producing high-grade gold production. The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora, in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

The Airleg Scraper Operator is responsible for the safe and productive operation of scraper winch systems to recover ore and waste materials in underground development and production headings.

n

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

n

n




- Operate scraper winch systems safely to recover blasted rock from underground headings.
n
- Set up scraper drives, pulleys, and cable systems according to operational standards and supervisor instructions.
n
- Assist in blasting preparation, scaling, and heading preparation where required.
n
- Monitor ground conditions and equipment performance, reporting faults immediately.
n
- Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance of scraper systems.
n
- Complete all required shift logs, production records, and hazard reports accurately.
n
- Maintain clean and organised underground equipment storage areas.
n
- Collaborate closely with Jumbo Operators, Charge Up Crews, and Truck Operators to optimise ore recovery.
n
- Support cross-shift setups and assist with minor services installations.
n

About You:

n

n
- Previous experience in a Underground environment (Desirable)
n
- Understanding of scraper operations, rigging, and ore handling
n
- All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences (RPL's)
n
- Hold a WA C class Driver's License
n
- Possess a Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at heights qualification.
n
