The Opportunity:

n

Chemtrans is growing, and we're building a robust operational team at our Coopers Plains site to support the next phase of the business.

n

We're looking for an experienced Operations Administration Supervisor to join the team and take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of our transport operations.

n

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operation runs safely, efficiently and compliantly, while delivering the high level of service our customers expect. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands transport operations,



enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and knows how to get the best out of a team.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

n

n
- Supervising and coordinating day-to-day transport operations
n
- Leading the team to deliver safe, efficient and customer-focused outcomes
n
- Driving a strong safety culture, including audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
n
- Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, Chain of Responsibility and accreditation requirements
n
- Maintaining compliance across fatigue, mass, load restraint, speed and vehicle standards
n
- Monitoring driver compliance and ensuring operational allocations meet legislative requirements
n
- Coaching and developing team members in safety, compliance and operational excellence
n
- Overseeing operational administration, including driver paperwork, PODs, reporting and invoicing information
n
- Working with the Operations Manager to improve operational efficiency, service and performance
n

What We're Looking For:

You'll be a practical, organised and confident supervisor who can balance the demands of people, customers, safety and compliance.

Ideally, you'll bring:

n

n




- Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet or a similar operational environment
n
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
n
- A strong understanding of transport safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility
n
- The ability to lead, coach and hold people accountable to operational and safety standards
n
- Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills
n
- Confidence working in a fast-moving environment and managing competing priorities
n
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and operational/database systems
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to build effective relationships
n
- A genuine commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
n
