ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Environmental Health Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Environmental Heath team by delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support. You will assist with the administration of environmental health permits, registrations and approvals, ensuring accurate record keeping and the timely processing of applications. This diverse role will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for responding to enquiries, maintaining environmental health records, and systems, supporting reporting activities and contributing to the continuous improvement of Council's environmental health services, systems and processes.

- Full-Time Ongoing Position
- Band 4 $72,199.92+ 12% Superannuation
- Flexible and hybrid options available

ABOUT YOU

You are an organised and customer-focused administration professional who enjoys working in a busy and collaborative environment. To succeed in this role you will have:

- Experience in administration, customer service or a similar role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Experience in environmental health or local government (desirable)
