The Eyre Hotel is searching for an experienced Casual Duty Manager to help lead the team across busy evening and night trade in one of Whyalla's most iconic hospitality venues.

n

Operating 365 days a year with a bustling front bar, gaming lounge, bistro, accommodation, and late-night trade, this is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who can stay calm under pressure, back their team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences every shift.

ABOUT YOU

You're a natural leader who enjoys being on the floor, supporting your team, and creating a venue atmosphere customers want to come back to.

You'll ideally bring:

- Previous hospitality leadership experience
n
- Strong background in bar, gaming, restaurant, or hotel operations
n
- Confidence leading teams during busy services
n
- Excellent problem‐solving and decision‐making skills
n
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
n
- High attention to detail and operational awareness
n

- Current RSA Certificate

- Current RSG/Basic Gaming Certificate

- RP Badge

ABOUT THE JOB

n

As a Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in leading shifts and ensuring the venue operates smoothly, safely, and professionally.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Leading the venue team during evening and late-night trade
n
- Supporting bar, gaming, food service, and customer operations
n
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues professionally
n
- Supervising staff performance and providing on‐shift coaching
n
- Managing gaming compliance and RSA requirements
n
- Cash handling, till balancing, and venue security procedures
n
- Monitoring presentation, cleanliness, and service standards
n
- Supporting stock control and operational procedures
n
- Creating a positive, productive, and team‐focused work environment
n
