ABOUT THE COMPANY

ROLE

We're looking for an experienced Waterproofing Inspector / Consultant to inspect waterproofing works and carry out pre-construction design reviews across Class 2 residential and commercial developments, identifying water ingress issues and preparing suitable remediation scopes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

- Inspect waterproofing works across Class 2 and commercial buildings,



including bathrooms, balconies, rooftops, podiums and basements
- Conduct desktop reviews of waterproofing design for Class 2 developments prior to construction
- Assess compliance against drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, Australian Standards and the NCC
- Prepare explicit inspection notes, photographic records and reports, with practical recommendations for rectification
- Liaise with builders, contractors and consultants, and attend site meetings to provide technical input

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 5 years' practical experience in construction waterproofing
- Strong understanding of Class 2 buildings and multi-residential construction
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code
- Ability to identify poor workmanship and non-compliant waterproofing works
- Current White Card and driver's licence
