The Role

A new opportunity has arisen for a Float Legal Assistant to work in our Melbourne Office on a full time basis. As a Float Legal Assistant, you will display a willingness to learn and have experience, ideally within a variety of practice areas, along with a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities will include the following:

- Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries;
- Preparing legal documents;
- Diary management;
- Coordinating team meetings/events;
- Mail merging documents and formatting; and

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and diary management skills, with a client service focus.



You will be proficient in MS Word and formatting, as well as good experience in Dictaphone typing. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, have good attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines. The core office hours are 8.30am to 5pm.

This role would be a great opportunity for a law student looking to gain experience across different practice areas within the firm.
