We are currently looking for a Managing Consultant / Senior Manager to join our Energy Transition & Utilities practice, which is experiencing significant growth. This role involves shaping and leading the delivery of major advisory and consulting services across various sectors, including Energy Networks, Energy Retail, Energy Central Markets, Water, and Nuclear.

The successful candidate will join our Central Markets sub-sector and will be expected to leverage their experience in GB energy market systems and regulation. This includes leading complex technical and regulatory changes across organizations and industry participants, contributing to broader market transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and assessment of technical changes to energy industry central systems.
- Oversee the implementation of industry changes from a central code body perspective, coordinating with affected parties.
- Provide expert advice to senior clients and stakeholders on regulatory frameworks and supporting systems.
- Translate policy and regulatory developments into practical solutions for industry challenges.
- Engage and train industry parties and senior stakeholders.




- Develop strategies to improve energy consumer outcomes and system performance.
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Manage complex workstreams and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality and delivery in uncertain environments.
- Contribute to initiatives across the Energy Transition & Utilities sector, including client relationship development and team growth.

Candidate Profile:

- Strong understanding of GB Energy Market regulation with subject matter expertise in industry systems.
- Experience in energy system operations and knowledge of data flow and agreements.
- Background working with Transmission Operators, System Operators, or Distribution Network Operators.
- Experience in Central Markets through work with government, regulators, and energy suppliers.
- Leadership and management consulting skills, including leading complex technical changes.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior clients and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience shaping and leading complex change programs and overseeing digital technology delivery.
- Proven track record in driving operational improvements and managing teams.
