We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead clinical operations within a large aged care home in Melbourne's south-east, working closely with the Residential Services Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support a dedicated care team.

About the Role

n

As Care Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership and oversight across the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and resident wellbeing.

n

Your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading, supporting and developing clinical and care teams
n
- Ensuring resident assessments, care plans and clinical documentation are accurate, current and compliant
n
- Overseeing medication management and the delivery of high-quality clinical care
n
- Providing coaching, mentoring and education to care staff
n
- Driving continuous quality improvement initiatives and supporting accreditation outcomes
n
- Drive best-practice clinical governance, compliance, health, safety and infection prevention.

About You

n

To be successful in this role,



you will be an experienced clinical leader who combines strong nursing knowledge with a genuine passion for aged care.

n

You will have:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
n
- Previous experience in a clinical leadership role within residential aged care
n
- Robust knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and compliance requirements
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop care teams
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
n
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
n
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional, person-centred resident care
n

Desirable:

n

n
- Postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology, Aged Care Management or a related discipline
n

n
