We are seeking passionate and motivated Enrolled & Registered Nurses to join our Medical, Surgical and Inpatient Units at St John of God Geelong Hospital on a casual basis.

n

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Nurses looking for flexibility, variety and the opportunity to work across a range of clinical environments. You will care for a diverse patient cohort across our medical, surgical and inpatient wards, gaining exposure to a broad range of specialties and patient presentations.

Working alongside experienced and supportive multidisciplinary teams, you will have the opportunity to utilise and further develop your clinical skills while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

n

Casual shifts are available across a variety of wards and may include AM, PM and night shifts, providing flexibility to suit your availability.

The Position

n

n
- Provides direct, comprehensive and patient-centred nursing care in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures and Care Paths.
n
- Works collaboratively with patients, families, medical staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
n
- Assists with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for allocated patients.
n
- Demonstrates sound clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, recognising and escalating changes in patient condition as clinically appropriate.
n
- Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicates relevant patient information effectively during handover and throughout the patient journey.

About You

n

To succeed in this role, you will hold current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse and have recent experience within an acute medical, surgical or inpatient hospital setting.

n

You will bring strong clinical assessment,



communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A flexible approach to working across different wards and shifts is essential.

The Benefits:

- Enrolled Nurse casual hourly rate: $42.50 to $50.74 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus12% superannuation
n
- Registered Nurse casual hourly rate: $53.90 to $68.03 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus12% superannuation
