About the Role
n
Working closely with experienced Partners and Managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of corporate insolvency and restructuring appointments. You'll play an active role in managing engagements, contributing directly to successful outcomes for stakeholders.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of corporate insolvency administrations (e.g., Liquidations, Voluntary Administrations, Receiverships).
n
- Conducting thorough investigations into company affairs, analysing financial information, and identifying potential voidable transactions or misconduct.
n
- Preparing accurate budgets and cash flow forecasts for businesses under administration.
n
- Drafting comprehensive statutory reports for ASIC, creditors, and other stakeholders.
n
- Implementing and monitoring appropriate financial controls on client engagements.
n
- Maintaining meticulous working papers and ensuring file compliance to the highest standards.
n
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, creditors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
n
- Contributing to the team's success and actively participating in business development initiatives where appropriate.
n

About You
n
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable accountant eager to contribute to a high-performing team. You will ideally possess:
n
n
- Experience:2-4 years' relevant experience, ideally within:n n
- A dedicated Insolvency/Restructuring practice, OR
n
- An Audit or Business Services role within a Chartered Accounting firm, demonstrating robust analytical skills and a genuine interest in transitioning to Insolvency.
n
n
- Qualifications:n
n
- A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Accounting, Commerce, Finance).
n
- Hold (or be actively working towards) your CA or CPA qualification.
n
n
- Skills:n
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders.
n
- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, essential for this field.
n
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage tasks independently.

- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and often sensitive environment.
