- Provide student-centred support using trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches
- Coordinate and deliver programs and initiatives supporting student welfare, mental health and harm prevention
- Provide guidance on support services, pathways and reporting options
- Apply policies, frameworks and legislation to individual and situational needs
- Manage intake, triage and case coordination
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality
- Travel to UQ campuses at Dutton Park, Gatton and Herston while being predominantly based at St Lucia
- Respond to disclosures of gender-based violence, behavioural risks and other concerns
- Deliver coordinated, timely responses prioritising safety, wellbeing and dignity for students and staff

Requirements

- A degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated judgement in applying policies, procedures and legislation, with the ability to adapt processes to meet outcomes
- Experience coordinating programs, projects or initiatives, including planning, timelines and delivery
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a service-focused environment
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making




- Maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Successful completion of applicable pre-employment checks, which may include right-to-work verification, criminal history, Blue Card, gender-based violence, integrity and conduct checks
