Quality Governance Lead - Digital Health Services
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Quality & Governance Lead to provide leadership across our digital health portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring that digital models of care, clinical workflows, data use, and technology-enabled services meet national standards, regulatory requirements, and best-practice clinical governance.
You will operate at both a strategic and operational level driving governance excellence, strengthening safety and quality systems, and providing senior assurance to executives and external stakeholders. Importantly, this role focuses on governance oversight and integration, enabling portfolio leads to deliver operational outcomes effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the clinical governance framework across all Digital Health services
- Set quality, safety, and assurance standards applicable across all streams
- Provide senior oversight of audit, compliance, incident management, and SOP architecture
- Integrate audit findings and incident intelligence into system-level improvement priorities
- Deliver senior assurance to executives and external stakeholders
- Reduce reliance on ad-hoc escalation to the Clinical Manager through strong governance structures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in a health or allied health discipline
- Significant experience in clinical governance, quality systems, or safety leadership
- Demonstrated experience in digital health, virtual care, or technology-enabled service delivery
- Strong knowledge of national safety and quality standards
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
Highly regarded:
- Postgraduate qualifications in clinical governance, quality improvement, or health education
- Experience in digital product development or health technology implementation
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to translate complexity into clear decisions
- Excellent communication skills across clinical, technical, and executive audiences
- High levels of qualified judgement, ethical decision-making, and risk awareness
- A commitment to fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
