Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex quantitative research projects from proposal and design through to analysis, reporting and presentation
- Take ownership of key accounts and build trusted, long-term client relationships
- Translate consumer evidence into clear strategic recommendations and commercially relevant advice
- Design research studies that respond directly to client objectives and business challenges
- Lead proposals, pitches and new business opportunities
- Manage project budgets, commercial targets and the team’s business development pipeline
- Guide consultants in developing their technical, strategic and client-facing capabilities
- Deliver high-quality reports that clearly communicate the story, implications and recommended actions
- Foster a collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged and people can do their best work
- Contribute to cultural and business initiatives across the consultancy
Skills & Experience
- Around 6–8 years of experience in market research, insights or strategic consulting
- Strong quantitative research experience across brands, products, services and customer challenges
- Experience leading foundational studies such as usage and attitude research, choice modelling, pack testing, innovation and concept optimisation
- Experience working with insights, category, marketing or revenue teams
- The ability to find the story in complex data and connect insights to commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultative skills
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of growing trusted client relationships
- Proven project leadership, problem-solving and people management capabilities
- Creative thinking and genuine curiosity about people, brands and business
- Confidence leading proposals, pitches and senior stakeholder presentations
- Experience with Q or similar analysis platforms
- Qualitative research experience would be advantageous
- A relevant tertiary qualification
