The Opportunity

We are seeking a trade-qualified Technical Officer (HVAC Systems) to oversee and coordinate planned preventative and corrective maintenance across major public facility assets . Your Daily Responsibilities

- HVAC Maintenance:



Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on major primary/secondary chilled water central plants, air conditioning systems, and BMS networks .
n
- Contractor Management: Engage, supervise, and direct external HVAC suppliers and contractors for minor works and specialist repairs .
n
- Work Orders & Compliance: Utilise modern work management systems to track assets, condition assessments, and safety compliance under QLD WHS legislation .
n
- On-Call Support: Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for emergency maintenance as required .

What You Need

n

n
- Licences: QLD Restricted Electrical Licence, Refrigerant Handling Licence, HVAC Trade Licence, and a valid C-Class Driver's Licence (QBCC Mechanical Services licence is a plus) .

- Experience: Proven background supervising HVAC contractors, managing site safety, and administering preventative maintenance strategies across multi-site locations .
n
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with central chilled water plants, and BMS networks.
n
- Work Rights: Full ongoing Australian Working Rights .
