We are currently recruiting for a Senior Rendering Supervisor to join our client's team in Cooma.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Rendering Operator, Leading Hand or Supervisor to step into a senior role and lead a team of approximately 4 employees.

About the Role

n

n
- Oversee daily rendering and by-product operations
n
- Lead, train and supervise the team
n
- Monitor production, yields, waste and product recovery
n
- Ensure safety, hygiene, quality and environmental requirements are met
n
- Oversee rendering, tallow, blood, paunch and hide processing
n
- Work with Maintenance and other departments to keep operations running smoothly
n
- Maintain records and assist with audits and environmental compliance
n
- Identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency
n

About You

n

n
- Rendering experience in a red meat processing environment
n
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager
n




- Good knowledge of rendering and by-product processes
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Hands-on approach with a solid focus on safety
n
- Basic maintenance knowledge is highly desirable
n
- Boiler licence is highly desirable
n

What's on Offer

- Monday-Friday roster

- Hours expected around 8am-4pm, with some flexibility
n
- $85,000 + for the right candidate
n
- Up to $5,000 relocation assistance available for eligible candidates
