Job Summary
There is an prospect foraSolicitor to join our Cairns or Brisbane based internal legal team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing and assisting with contracts of sale for both businesses and land
- Attending to large property transactions, including due diligence and option agreements
- Preparing and reviewing leases, licence agreements, franchising agreements
- Reviewing and advising on fuel supply agreements
- Satisfying disclosure obligations with respect to franchising and retail leases
- Assisting with procedural processes for rental determinations
- Liaising with our existing external legal panel
Experience & Key Skills
Our ideal candidate/s will have:
- A minimum of two years experience across a range of property transactions (ideally some experiencing with franchising)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
