Job Description
You'll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, with a strong focus on EDI order processing for major retail accounts, pick and pack efficiency, container receipting, and stock accuracy across the team. This role is covering a period of leave (up to 12 months), but the company is open to the candidate being part of the team ongoing long term for the right person.

Key responsibilities

Process and manage EDI orders for major retail account, ensuring accuracy and on-time dispatch
n
Manage inventory control and stock levels
n
Monitor performance and ensure accurate order fulfillment
n
Supervise and coordinate daily pick and pack operations
n
Lead and train a small team of warehouse staff
n
Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams
n
Liaise with management and other team members
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
n
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
n
General warehouse duties
n
About you
n
Experience with EDI order processing or major retail order/inventory systems (highly regarded)
n
Experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role
n
Robust knowledge of pick and pack procedures
n
Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
n
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Computer proficiency (inventory software, MS Office)
n
The ability to prioritise, work efficiently, organise, and be punctual
